HISTORY AND PRACTICE

The Firm was founded in 1984 in Mexico City, with the purpose of rendering services in the corporate area. Since then, the Firm has grown and  gained a widespread reputation for its expertise in the corporate, finance, securities, foreign investment and tax fields. The founding partners identified the need for professionalism and specific response  as required by the constant transformation of Mexico into an economy of greater sophistication. In 1988, the Firm continued its steady growth by expanding its practice to other areas of corporate law, and other types of business and personal representation. Beginning the 1990s, the Firm entered into its consolidation phase and experienced institutional growth and developed into a full-service corporate practice law firm.  Notwithstanding, the Firm's original specialty areas of expertise remain preeminent in the Firm's practice.

Our policy requires that at least two partners be in knowledge of client matters in order to assure an efficient response capacity and provide legal certainty to our clients’ immediate needs.

 

We are extremely careful in protecting possible conflicts of interest of our clients; for this reason, we always perform thorough conflicts of interest reviews before accepting any new matter.
